Responsibilities
Customer Support
?
Works directly with I.T. staff and end-users in analyzing, troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software support issues.?
Images and deploys desktops and laptops as needed for new hires, repairs, and upgrades.?
Updates and / or resolves support tickets within SLA guidelines.?
Deploy, troubleshoot and repair firm-issued PDA devices.?
Coordinate, setup, and test AV conference support needs and video conferencing between firm offices and clients.?
Will assist with some AD administration.?
Notifies Supervisor of all critical situations or potential user issues and trends; also notifies users as instructed by Manager or Manager?s procedures.?
Provides and oversees visible floor and desk side support to the users as needed.Hardware Maintenance and Inventory
?
Assists with managing the installation, repair and maintenance of all office personal computers and printers.?
Assist with developing and implementing procedures for equipment repairs, RMAs with vendors and suppliers.?
Assist with coordination of inventory distribution and allocation to lawyers and staff during hardware and software upgrades.?
Maintains inventory records for laptops, desktops, PDA?s, projectors, printers and other hardware supported by this department; checks out equipment as required.?
May coordinate equipment rentals required for trials, summer programs, etc.Education:

Bachelor?s Degree preferred or equivalent professional experience required.Experience:
?
Minimum of 3 - 5 years IT experience in a professional environment required.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
?
Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor are a requirement.?
Strong working knowledge of computer and printer hardware.?
Strong working knowledge of PC imaging.?
Working knowledge of Active Directory.?
Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.?
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.?
Ability to work independently on multiple projects is required.?
Possess creative problem solving, analytical and troubleshooting skills is required.?
Strong working knowledge of Windows XP, Windows 7, MS Office suite.?
Working knowledge of Citrix Published applications.?
Excellent interpersonal and communication (oral & written) skills.?
Must be able to work individually and in a team environment.?
Must have good conceptual/technical knowledge of PC LAN systems and desktop applications.?
Some server / network administration is a plus.?
Must have willingness to learn and initiative to take on new tasks.
